You Are Responsible For
- Performs a wide variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Disassembling, modifying, reworking, re-assembling assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Assist/ perform prototype assembly
- Prepares assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and routers.
- Must understand and follow drawings/blueprints, parts list (BOM), along with customers and military specifications.
- Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards.
- Maintain logs, paperwork, and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices
- Able to be cross trained at different tasks within the shop, as needed.
- Able to use personal protection equipment including but not limited to eye protection and face masks when required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to inspect the work and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Familiarity with PC software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to work with a diverse work force
- Ability to multi-task and to execute under pressure.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Good Communication skills, problem solving ability and adaptability is preferred
- US person status or clearance related requirements
