Assembler

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform various electrical and mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and re-assemble assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
  • Assist or perform prototype assembly
  • Prepare assembly work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and routers
  • Follow drawings, blueprints, parts lists (BOM), and customer/military specifications
  • Meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
  • Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and forms according to company policy and practices
  • Cross-train at different tasks within the shop as needed
  • Use personal protection equipment, including eye protection and face masks when required
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Inspect work and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • US person status or clearance-related requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Familiarity with PC software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work with a diverse workforce
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability
