Job Responsibilities:
- Perform various electrical and mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies
- Disassemble, modify, rework, and re-assemble assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
- Assist or perform prototype assembly
- Prepare assembly work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and routers
- Follow drawings, blueprints, parts lists (BOM), and customer/military specifications
- Meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
- Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and forms according to company policy and practices
- Cross-train at different tasks within the shop as needed
- Use personal protection equipment, including eye protection and face masks when required
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Inspect work and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- US person status or clearance-related requirements
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Familiarity with PC software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability
